Furnishings!

I finally was able to get some furniture for the apartment I'm staying in at least through November. The place is still a little bare--I don't have too much else besides the larger pieces I got this week--but I'm very excited to have a place that actually feels like home.
Unfortunately, since I only have this apartment definitively through the end of November (it's part of the compensation for my job), I might have to move out in about 3 months. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to get a job in the area that pays enough to stay here (::fingers crossed::) and NOT have to spend another couple of weeks finding another place, packing up, moving, etc.
Anyway, because I so rarely take photos of much of anything, I thought I'd post some of my new place here:

The family room--I especially like my couch, which has two built in recliners on either side (it might not look great, but it's really comfortable)

This was taken from the entrance of my apartment; the family room is on the right and you cane see most of the dining area & the entrance to the kitchen. The wall that's blocking the view in the left part of the picture is actually a coat closet
