Furnishings!

I finally was able to get some furniture for the apartment I'm staying in at least through November. The place is still a little bare--I don't have too much else besides the larger pieces I got this week--but I'm very excited to have a place that actually feels like home.
Unfortunately, since I only have this apartment definitively through the end of November (it's part of the compensation for my job), I might have to move out in about 3 months. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to get a job in the area that pays enough to stay here (::fingers crossed::) and NOT have to spend another couple of weeks finding another place, packing up, moving, etc.
Anyway, because I so rarely take photos of much of anything, I thought I'd post some of my new place here:

The family room--I especially like my couch, which has two built in recliners on either side (it might not look great, but it's really comfortable)

Making Changes

So I changed the title of my blog...undoubtedly it'll be changed a few more times in the near future. Any suggestions?

Also, the quote I added has absolutely nothing to do with this blog; it's just a sentence which pretty nicely captures the main point of the senior thesis I wrote last year.

Aaaaand, back to work.
